Do you say that after trying? Also which other ones of the list did you try?
No, I got the tour (though not hands-on.) And the only other I’ve tried is Storytime about a month ago.
Hmm in that case it seems a bit early to announce they seem furthest along. : D As far as i can tell they are behind bard in production readiness and well behind lanes.pm in features and performance. Happy to show you lanes so you can see for yourself!
Ok, somehow I missed the Bard mention upthread. I've just signed up and I know it sounds silly but I'm put off by it calling stories "tickets". That belies a lack of understanding of the problem Tracker solves.
Lanes' docs link says "coming soon" which doesn't inspire confidence, and there's no explanation of the background of whoever's building it—is that you? It would help to know about the motivations, background and structure of the team behind it.
Agree, their choice of "ticket" seems odd (same with the "Priority" filed), not sure if it would turn me off completely though.
The lanes website will get an overhaul soon, still focusing on the app itself and direct feedback from talking to users.
Have you guys tried this one: https://trackerboot.com/ Seems like built by ex-Pivotal Labs.
We’ve been developing a productivity tool called Flo and were using Pivotal Tracker for the dev stories. Because our tool uses derivations of CalDAV, it was easy to import all our old PT stories into our app. We made some changes to the front-end to accommodate basic agile functionality, including status kanbans, story-level comments, and chats. Because it’s part of a larger app that integrates emails, calendars, notes, and chat/calls, there are also some added connectivity features. We’ve been using the agile component with several thousand imported PT stories across several dozen projects since last April. Currently, the app is in beta, and we’re not actively promoting the agile component but it does work - and anyone is welcome to give it a try.
